Overview – The City of Salmon Arm is a truly charming community on the shores of Shuswap Lake. Main Industries – Tourism, forestry, agriculture and light manufacturing.

Schools – 8 elementary schools, 2 junior highs and a senior secondary school. French Immersion is offered at both the Bastion Elementary and Shuswap Middle Schools – with plans to expand into secondary levels in the near future.

The Okanagan College campus in Salmon Arm offers university transfer courses in Arts and Science, as well as business programs, health and social development, trades, upgrading and more.
